Make a tax-deductible gift to the Annual Fund and help support the Museum's essential daily operations. From conserving works of art to educating visitors and paying for heat and electricity, your gifts help offset daily expenses. Your donation also provides resources for dozens of special exhibitions, films, educational programs, and new installations.

(Read our security policy.) You'll receive a contribution confirmation via return email that you can print and file for tax purposes. If you prefer, you may exercise one of these other options.
Mail Send your check, money order, or credit-card information to our main address. Please include your name and address and specify that your donation is for the Annual Fund. If you are donating by credit card, please include: name as it appears on the credit card, type of credit card, account number, card expiration date, amount of your gift, and daytime telephone number.
Telephone Please call (860) 838-4095 to charge a donation to your credit card. Be ready to give your credit card account number and expiration date.
Give stock.
Stock donations are also a favorite way for the charitably inclined to support the Atheneum's Annual Fund. For more information, you are invited to call Katie Berube, Donor Relations Coordinator, at (860) 838-4095, or to send an email to giving@wadsworthatheneum.org. If you have already decided to gift stock and would like to proceed, please ask your broker to transfer securities to DTC#955, Wadsworth Atheneum, account #42161008556867, Bank of America, Hartford, Connecticut. Please notify our Coordinator at the above number of your generous donation so we may send you a confirmation for tax purposes.
Make a pledge.
Would you care to give later in the year? Or, perhaps spread out your contributions? Simply fill out our donation card. You'll receive a pledge confirmation via return email, plus pledge reminders in the intervals you select. Of course, your pledge amounts are tax deductible as well.
Make a matching contribution.
Lots of employers offer to match charitable gifts made by employees, retirees, and board members. Click here to see a list of local matchers. If you're contributing to our Annual Fund, please find out if your employer will match your gift by contacting your Human Resources department.

If you're not already a member of the Wadsworth Atheneum, joining is the first best way to show your support. Your tax-deductible membership funds exhibitions, films, education, new installations, and upkeep of our facilities. You're invited to join as an individual, a corporation, or as a premier member.
