See a film at the Wadsworth Atheneum’s Aetna Theater,

a magnificent Art Deco theater, first built to house George Ballanchine’s Ballets Russes. Today, you can see the best in independent and art films, productions from the international scene and cinema classics. Come for a taste of the artistic and the offbeat. Before showtime, wine, beer, and snacks are available for purchase in the theater's Loctite Lobby. Tables and chairs are set up for your comfort. Film discussions take place after each film screening.
